School of Rap: The Story of M.I.N.D. explores the friendships and creative journey of teenage hip-hop/punk band M.I.N.D.
Rapper/vocalist Mazin, keyboardist Wolf and drummer Oscar met and became friends in kindergarten while attending Alpha Alternative Junior School. They form the hip-hop/punk trio M.I.N.D. in 2015, and begin writing, performing and recording music.
In fall 2019, the band enters one of Toronto's largest Battle of the Bands competitions -- but will they have what it takes to outshine 100 other bands twice their age and experience?
The film screened at the Doc’n Roll, Into Film and Lift-Off Austin film festivals in 2023.
